About the Author
Julia Wood joined the faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill when she was 24. During her 37 years on the faculty, she taught classes and conducted research on personal relationships as well as gender, communication, and culture. She was named the Lineberger Distinguished Professor of Humanities and the Caroline H. and Thomas S. Royster Distinguished Professor of Graduate Education. In addition to publishing 25 books and 100 articles and book chapters, she has presented more than 100 papers at professional conferences and campuses around the country. Her accolades include 14 awards honoring her teaching and 16 awards recognizing her scholarship. She received her B.A. from North Carolina State University, her M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University.

Thus far, this book is useful in that it gives great examples of application of theories, and even exercises that enable you to apply the theories yourself. As arduous as a Thories class can be, this is at least a decent way to learn it.

About the Author

Rolf Behling holds a diploma in physics from the University of Hamburg, Germany. During more than 30 years in the medical industry he has held many positions, including department head of tube technology development, global project coordination manager, global innovation manager, head of marketing and field support for X-ray tubes, department head for X-ray tube development, project manager, and process physicist. The first spiral-groove-bearing X-ray tube was developed under his leadership. He currently heads the Philips Group for Advanced Development of X-ray Tubes and X-ray Generators at Philips HealthTech in Hamburg. He is a part-time lecturer at the University of Hamburg and has written numerous patents and publications in vacuum technology and medical imaging.

I have never seen a book dedicated to x-ray sources. It definitely fills a huge gap in scientific literature. This book is very comprehensive. It covers everything from the history to the deep technical details(Stuff you didn't know but were afraid to ask). The authors insight into future trends seems to be very insightful. I believe this book will be an industry standard for many years to come. If I was a rich man I would buy copies for all my nerdy friends.

I suspect that the longer story can be read as a stand-alone but this provides a nice background and gives a great introduction to the author's delightful style. I looked forward to reading the story itself and enjoyed the heat and interactions in this short story.Reviewed by ELF

I couldn’t wait to read this one

I love prequels, especially when there is a backstory in the original book that isn’t presented. It’s like a longer version of a prologue. I couldn’t wait to read this one. I loved Texas Two Step and couldn’t wait to see how their love story began.

The Prequel tells how Mitch and Livie started dating and gave insight into how Mitch really felt about Livie then. I really wish it would have went into detail about her pregnancy and his first marriage, but it was still really good. I think it was basically a perfect beginning to a perfect story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks series. I really don’t want to have to wait until November to read Travis’ story.

That you think are for the best really isn't. Olivia knew she wanted
Mitch in her life ever since she was a teenager, finally they may
have a chance, Mitch knew that she needed to know more about
the world than what he could offer her. So he did what he thought
was best and walked away......................... Love not worth the pain

the events that already has started is going to be a journey

How it all began. Must read.

This is the beginning of the Texas Montgomery Maverick series, book 0. It is the story how Mitch and Livie began. This book give you the story of how they meet and the back story of how they got to Texas Two Step book 1. I could not put this book down once it was on my reader. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Hope this series grows as big as Texas, cause I want to read more about this family. Recommend to all cowboy lover and lovers of family series. Happy Reading.

It has an excellent guide for preparing freshwater fish for cooking that I have not seen in other books on fish cookery or on camping. It has a large section of recipes that cover some of the fish which don't see in other books, such a muskellunge, pike, and pan fish. An excellent buy for fishermen of all levels.

This is an excellent book for teachers or parents to help children who are impulsive, hyperactive, or inattentive. The Scriptbook opens like an easel, with identical script on each side. The adult sits on one side, and the child sits on the opposite. It is a "mini" play. Everyday scenarios are presented, a crisis is recounted, and then a script leads the child to take on the role of the child in the scene. The child discovers what could be done to remedy the situation. This is an effective book to help children learn alternative ways of acting positively.

An analytical integration is convenient only in one-dimensional approach with considerable simplification. Integration in the numerical field is useful for taking into account particular aspects of water body and pollutants.

To ensure their reliability, the models require accurate calibration and validation, based on proper data, taken from direct measurements. �In addition, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis are also of utmost importance. �
